Offerings at St. Francis

Food Pantry

Our parish supports the food distribution at the Valley Center Neighborhood Healthcare Clinic by collecting non-perishable food items and financial donations. Each contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful difference for families facing difficult times. We invite you to join us in this ministry of compassion. Bring your donations to the church during regular hours, or contact us for drop-off details. Together, we can be instruments of God’s grace, hope, and abundance for our neighbors.

Bible Study

This year, St Francis invites you to journey through Scripture with The Path: A Journey Through the Bible. This engaging study offers a clear, accessible overview of the grand story of God’s love, with selected passages from the Bible to guide our reading and discussion. Whether you are new to the Bible or have read it many times, The Path will help you see the big picture and discover how God’s story connects with your own. We meet on Thursdays at 5:00 pm, beginning October 2, and continuing October 16 through till Thanksgiving. Come deepen your faith, ask questions, and grow in community as we walk this spiritual journey together.

Music Ministry

Come join our Sunday morning choir during the program year as they lead and make music for worship. The choir rehearses at 9:00 am each Sunday from October through May.

Our Assisi Band of guitarists and singers welcomes you to join for special Sundays and other worship offerings during the year.

Children’s Ministry

Our 8:00 am Sunday service offers a Sunday school for children during the first part of the service. Children join parents and the congregation for communion together in the church. Children of all ages are welcome!

Meditation Garden

Come rest and pray in our beautiful meditation garden, open to all who seek a place apart. You can find it adjacent to the church, just off our parking lot. Native plants as well as plants named in the Bible offer shade, and birdsong makes this a wonderful place for quiet and stillness.

Memorial Garden

Open to members of the church and greater community, our lovely memorial garden provides a place of repose in the beautiful Pauma Valley.
